Brown Medicine is a large non-profit, academic, multi-specialty medical group in Rhode Island with many advanced practice providers. We provide primary care, and specialty outpatient and inpatient services in multiple practices throughout the diverse state of Rhode Island, including specialized pulmonary and sleep care. Brown Medicine is an affiliated entity of the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Division: Nephrology
We are looking for an APP who will provide the following services in our nephrology practice. These services may be modified from time to time based upon the needs of the Division.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, routine care to outpatients seen at various nursing home facilities.
- Care for chronic dialysis patients, provide nephrology consults at the Lincolnwood nursing homes and others as assigned.
- Work alongside our administrative staff to coordinate care.
- Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives as determined by members of the division.
- Responsible for ensuring good communication with patient and patient’s primary care provider.
- Work within and be responsible to the Division Director Nephrology and any other duties as assigned by Division Director.
Requirements:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified
Educational requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited NP/PA program
Details:
- Permanent- we are seeking a part time (16 hours/week) APP
